To tackle dirt that doesn't come up with a sweep or vacuum, use a non-rinsing cleaner that
leaves no residue and a mop. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, oil cleaners, or dish detergents.
9. Can I walk on my SPC floor and mop it immediately after installation?
It is recommended to avoid walking on your SPC floor for at least 24 hours after installation.
However, you can mop your floor immediately following installation.
10. How do I repair a chip or scratch in my vinyl flooring?
Chips and deep scratches in SPC flooring are typically difficult to remove but can be hidden.
To remove scuff marks, apply a drop of mineral spirits, turpentine, paint thinner, or baby oil.
Wipe the scuff away with a soft cloth. Ensure to clean the floor thoroughly with a damp cloth afterwards.
